The year has flown by so fast and we just can’t believe that October is right around the corner. While most people are getting hyped for all things fall, our Saddle Creek Weddings staff can’t wait for our couples to walk down the aisle and celebrate such a special moment once our doors open. Even with a few weather setbacks, Saddle Creek is nearing the finish line for what can only be described as the most anticipated Hill Country opening of the year.
With Saddle Creek moving full steam ahead, we are so excited to share our progress:
Shiplap- Details are our thing and these shiplap walls are no different. Crafted from Douglas Fir, you can find our hand stained walls in the ceremony barn and the reception barn. We’ve stained 25,000 linear feet of wood on site in three complimentary shades to give both barn spaces an elegant and weathered ambiance. While the stain is stunning, we’ve also been extremely careful to pick colors that still showcase the authentic wood grain of each piece.
Siding- Can you say WOW? Also constructed from Douglas Fir, we decided to keep the wood in its natural state for the barn siding. The rich, buttery tan and brown colors pair brilliantly with our rust red roof hues. With a mix of vertical and horizontal patterns, and our limestone foundation wall, we’ve tactfully found a way to bring this exquisite barn look into 2018.
Furnishings– If you’re dreams are made out of weathered wood and wrought iron, our property is the perfect fit. Furnished with one of a kind pieces, we’ve sourced everything from our tables to our wall decor from local furniture stores. Rustic Rarehouse is highly sought after for restoring second hand furniture and antiques and is well known for having the inventory that everyone wants.
Check back with us in a few weeks when we do a total walk-through of our beautiful location.
